JOB TRAINING PROGRAMS IN DEVELOPMENT:

Walk The Cross Ministries is reviewing ways to offer job skills training programs to selected individuals.  It has not been determined if this program will become reality, but the Ministry is working towards developing a comprehensive job skills training program to be located in selected ministry locations.

DONATE TO CHANGE LIVES!!!

We need material items and cash donations to help others throughout the year.  BUT...Ok, so this request is a bit early.  Every year by the time Thanksgiving and Christmas arrive we fall short of our goals in collecting urgently needed items and are unable to deliver any items and presents to serve the people who rely on us for food and gifts for their family for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We are making plans ahead of time for donations.  For more information on how you can help others with   PLEASE HELP!  We need donations even for the basic needs of life, PLEASE VISIT OUR MISSION PAGE - click here OUR WORK\MISSIONS.

WE NEED CHRISTIAN MATERIALS IN ENGLISH:

What extraordinary things do we see in everyday life that we take for granted? Not many people see the obvious, and not many people see beyond the obvious.  The Gifts of God are free....just for the asking.  But, when we do not see God as He wants us to Love and see Him, we won't be able to see His Great Gifts.  It is as if we have put blinders on our eyes and only see what we want to see. Matt 6:33; Gal 5:22,23

The Star Thrower by Loren Eiseley  (1907-1977)

Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.  One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer.  He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.  As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all.  The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean. He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?" The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean." "I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man. To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out.  If I don't throw them in, they'll die." Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!" At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean.  As it met the water, he said, "It made a difference for that one."

Life is too short my friends.  We have to take each moment that God gives us and count it as a great Joy and Blessing, regardless of our circumstances.  We have to stop taking life for granted, stop being selfish, stop complaining, and start living by giving back to God - which means helping others unselfishly.

One God, One Lord Jesus, One day at a time!  You never know when you will face that final moment in life.  It would be really sad if you are not prepared.  Rev 3:3

Remember this... "Achievements are not made without sacrifices, and sacrifices are not appreciated without achievements!

God sacrificed His only Son for you.  Jesus gave up His life unselfishly so that YOU may have life abundant and everlasting!  You achieved eternal life with the Father because of this sacrifice.  Start appreciating what God did for you in His sacrifice!  John 3:16

God will reveal Himself to you, and you will be amazed at the plans God has for you... plans made before you were even born!  Jer 29:11
